Sunny Hill Excavating LLC was founded in April of 2022 by Austin Kodey. Austin's formal education and background in construction, heavy equipment, and agriculture has prepared him to handle almost any project you have in mind.

From planning, permitting, and completing the work requested, we have the experience and capability to perform the required tasks within our company. As a result, we rarely engage subcontractors to assist us when completing our projects. Working directly with us not only allows for clearer communication with you, but allows us to ensure completion of your project with greater controls on quality and a more personalized experience for you. Although we rarely engage subcontractors, we are a trusted, reliable and sough after choice for many other local contractors.

We own new, reliable, and well maintained equipment. From our excavators, dump trucks, trailers and other heavy equipment, we are configured to bring the right size equipment to your job to get the project completed in a safe and efficient manner. For larger projects requiring specialized equipment, we have relationships with the local and regional vendors and suppliers that allow us to obtain what we need when we need it.

Sunny Hill Excavating is fully insured and we hold several current certifications from OSHA and within the construction industry. We are also a certified excavator by NYS Dig Safe.
